Ideal Home Feature: Should Woodwork be Lighter or Darker?

I loved writing this feature for Ideal Home and digging deep into the more technical side of interior design. The focus of the piece was to offer the reader all of the information that they needed to make a decision based on their own individual circumstances.

The title ‘should woodwork be lighter or darker than walls?’, is pretty self explanatory. The piece looked into the visual effect of painting wood work darker or lighter, provided practical advice, creative ideas, and called upon interior designers and brand experts for additional advice.
